The main role in a wedding goes to the couple , but the bride gets all the attention. Its important for every bride to look picture perfect. So i decided to blog on the theme of the indian wedding which will enhance the look of the bride.
This gold-pink combo has been the most popular choice among brides, but they always pair with the wrong jewel . So let me tell my opinion on what can be done to make the traditional and all time favorite gold-pink to look stunning and one of its kind.
The biggest hurdle of choosing the color of saree/lehenga is done . The next to focus on is the jewelry . Most of the bride use gold based jewels like the temple jewelry which has ruby stones/just plain gold with exquisite designs . When this jewelry is used against this pink, both the jewel and the dress does not compliment each other , so i suggest white diamond based jewelry with pink/ruby stones to compliment the white stones/diamonds and your beautiful lehenga/saree.
Mang tikka/Nethi chutti, a necklace , a longer haram , bangles ,earrings and waist belt/ootiyanam makes any bride look like a princess. When wearing the right jewels that compliments the saree/lehenga the entire look speaks for itself. Another unnoticed but an awesome jewelry i personally love to see on any girl wearing saree/lehenga is anklets ,
for this combo a plain diamond /white stone anklets will look stunning.
An indian brides attire does not stop with jewels and saree/lehenga , the garland worn should also compliment the look , for this gold-pink combo , i suggest light yellow or white color garland . White is commonly used and easily available.
The make-up and hair are the next big highlights for the bride . For this look i would go with the natural looking make-up with nude / light pink lipstick, since the diamonds will make you sparkle , to much make-up and bright lips will be to much on a person.
The hair-do makes the entire look complete in my opinion. If a lehenga is opted ,I would suggest an half updo with curls at the end and if a saree is opted , the commonly done plaited hair with diamond ornaments will complete the look.
The venue should be a compliment for your look for the wedding album to look stunning. For this gold-pink look I suggest a pink and white flower with gold drapes and wooden chairs for the guests will look neat and complement your look.
